How many times have you felt that you want to have something you do not have? How many times have you ran in circles without stopping, in search for “that something” you do not have? The eternal human problem of dissatisfaction, thinking that our life will never be fully whole ONLY WHEN/IF …
Nowadays this search is permanent and insatiable. We never feel satisfied reaching a place or moment in our life that is worth living in and we keep on being there, running in circles. We think that by achieving something in life everything will forever be resolved. The truth, however, is that it does not seem to work that way. Life is never "resolved" at all, because we are always on the road.
BUELTAXKA forces the public to stop, to stop running in circles, to abandon the search. It reminds us that there is nothing more out there, that “that” is it, and that “that” has always been all there is. But “that” has always been worth it.
The work tells the story of two friends – Jaiotz Osa and Rafke Van Houplines – who realize that being impatient to achieve goals does not make any sense. They (manage to) find the joy of being together, knowing for sure that when going on this journey together and abandoning the dissatisfaction and constant search for more, failure will never exist.
BUELTAXKA applauds the journey, it invites us to the present.
BUELTAXKA is the exaltation of friendship.
